Pin Fix {v.4}

I haven't shared my Pins with you guys in a while, so I figured I'd do so now. I have a lot of cool finds I want to share with you!

First up is this tutorial series from an awesome blog, Diary of A Quilter. I have always kind of avoided quilting as a hobby, but I know it is inevitable that I will someday try it and probably become just as obsessed as every other quilter out there! So this is where I will start!

Now...apple pie is one of my most favorite things of all time... Baking pies? Not. So why have I not thought of this?! Apple pie without the pie pan! I am definitely doing this sometime. Watch out, waistline. Here comes dessert.

I also stumbled upon this awesome post with tons of ideas on little projects to make with all those fabric scraps you have left over from all those big projects. So helpful and inspiring!

These cute little bookends are from Pottery Barn Kids. $30. But I didn't pin these because I plan on buying them...(Sorry, PB...) I pinned them because I now plan on making my own adorable bookends!! We'll see how that goes. Hopefully it will get added to my list of awesome tutorials. ;)

This is an awesome day by day guide to growing wheat grass in a cute little box like this one. This is something I've seen in like 10 different home decorating books, and I always thought it looked so modern and even sophisticated almost. Now I know the secret: it's totally easy to do!

These little PBJ sushi rolls are so cute!! I'd like to someday have sushi regularly in my household. But just in case that's not cool with the little ones, at least I know peanut butter is! Definitely gotta make these.

Well, that was sort of a very green post, based on the colors in the pictures. So let's pretend I did that on purpose and call it a St. Patty's Day Pin Fix! Happy pinning, everyone!

Pin Fix {v.3}

I go through these phases of obsessing over my future dream house that I'm going to build. Pinterest doesn't help. Or it does, depending on your perspective.

I love this living room! I want to incorporate as much nature as possible into my home. In fact, I would probably live in an actual nest if I could. Haha, not really... But I like the idea of living amongst plants and all things natural.

This apron is really cute! And it's a tutorial! AND it has built in hot pads!!! Need I say more?

And since we're thinking kitchen, how about these yummy looking cookie fruit tacos for a fun and somewhat healthy snack for the kiddos? Or for me...

This cute DIY skirt was made from old T-shirts. That's my kind of project! I really love ruffly skirts...

I hope to make a wreath that looks something like this soon, but maybe not exactly the same. If it turns out well, you can expect a tutorial! I am craving a home made wreath for the non-holiday seasons for the door that is rather welcoming. I think something simple like this would do the trick.

Speaking of "make..." I really want to make a bedding set for Adrianne that goes with the bedroom/nursery theme I am trying to go for, which is a gender neutral theme inspired by Classic Pooh. While I wouldn't use these colors, I like the ruffly pillows and comforter!

Ideally, I would make her something like this...Heck, I would make me something like this!!

I'd also like to make a mobile like this one! Again, going for the nature feel.

And finally, since we're all about nature in this post, I've been feeling inspired lately to start a small indoor herb garden. I'd want it to look a little like this perhaps, just maybe even smaller and...less dirt-y looking. Giant rubber balls flying through the house + mesh garden filled with dirt = I don't want to clean that. So back to Pinterest I go! Need to look at more weird herb arrangements!
